Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love your Sommerfugl Kids order. If something isn't right, here's exactly how returns work.

CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS

We accept change-of-mind returns on any item within 14 days of delivery, for store credit. Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered and unused, in their original condition and packaging, with tags attached. You'll also need your order number or proof of purchase.

Store credit is issued for the price you paid for the item, excluding shipping charges. We don't offer cash refunds for change of mind. Credit notes are valid for 6 months from the date of issue, and can be extended to 12 months on request in writing.

FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If your item is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, you are entitled to a refund to your original payment method or a replacement, and we will reimburse reasonable return postage once we've confirmed the issue. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Please inspect your order when it arrives and email us as soon as possible with your order number and a photo of the issue.

HOW TO RETURN

1. Email hello@sommerfuglkids.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number, the item you'd like to return and the reason.

2. We'll reply within one business day with return instructions and our return address.

3. Post the item back to us. For change-of-mind returns, return postage is at your cost and we're unable to provide return labels. We recommend a tracked service, as we can't take responsibility for returns lost in transit.

Items sent back without first contacting us may not be accepted.

PROCESSING TIMES

Please allow 2 to 4 business days for us to process your return once it arrives. We'll email you when your store credit has been issued. Approved refunds for faulty or incorrect items are returned to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval, though your bank may take a little longer to process them.
