Most bibs catch about half of dinner. This one has a moulded silicone catcher across the front that pops open and stays open, so dropped peas, rogue pasta and the last third of a banana land in the pocket instead of on the floor, the chair and you. Tip it out, rinse it, done.

The catcher snaps off at two studs, so you can wash the smock flat and the pocket separately. Above it, full long sleeves with elasticated cuffs cover the arms properly, which makes this just as good for painting, playdough and yoghurt-flinging as it is for meals.

Waterproof fabric wipes down in seconds, dries quickly and folds flat for the nappy bag. One snap at the back neck to get it on and off without a wrestle.
